From a side street, the view falls through a fence: 6 artistic positions, lined up along a baseline. Behind them pallets, piles of sand, parked furniture, falling leaves, sounds from the sports field.

The works and their materials blend in and set themselves apart. A flower made of Plexiglas is reflected in urban vegetation. The bright yellow surface of a monochrome painting on the back of a tool shed becomes a window to another world. A figure, resembling a scarecrow but leaning toward the birds, offers food. Miniatures of sofa landscapes made from bulky waste form an interior in the outdoor space. A weave of wire mesh encloses and deforms a mattress that remains exposed to the weather. A cast of a deer kid's cow connected to agricultural machinery parts evokes a piece of sports equipment.

On the court, landscape and body are cultivated at the same time. In a depot, things taken out of their original context find a provisional meaning and join to form a new image.

Lined up along the fence, the works appear as if presented in a shop window and at the same time placed in the offside. The edge is the center. Perspective and distance are predetermined, the image ordered by the grid of the fence. In the logic of the alignment, the sketch of a landscape is to be read horizontally: from right to left or left to right. From the baseline, the works each relate to their surroundings in their own way.
